I thought I’d share a few videos with you. These are from a snow blower that Marty had made. The blower started out as a 24” walk behind & is now a 42” one that goes on the front of the lawn tractor.
The 1st video is the very 1st time it is started.
The 2nd video is the very 1st time it is being used.
The 3rd video is the 2nd time it was being used.
The 4th video is after a breakdown & a few tweaks. It’s got a crank now for turning the chute too. Look at the distance that it throws the snow.
The final video is of the crank. The universal joint is homemade.
That’s all of the videos of it. Here are some pictures of what it started out as.

Mounted on the tractor. It’s powered by its own 15 hp motor.
On the tractor, with the cab on. Ready for snow blowing now.

I hope that you enjoyed this.
Dear RottieGirl,
ReplyDeleteIn this crazy winter whirlwind known as "playing Santa," it is my timely visit to your blog page that has been made to suffer and I apologise. Christmas shopping and other assorted deck the hallsies are not good reasons for waysiding my dear friend RottieGirl. There is absolutely no excuse for such behavior. Please forgive me? I am so very sorry.
RottieGirl BlOg FuN!: It is unbelievable the amount of snow that takes over your part of the world! (I actually smacked my hand to my forehead during your live-action!) Fortunately, Marty has ways to deal with these enormous piles left by the Frosty Beast. The snow eater that he invented looks as though it could tame anything! Bravo, Mr. Marty, BRAVO! By the by, has your magnificent snowblower been christened yet? It definitely deserves a mighty, powerful and "white stuff"-chewing name!
Special Alert: My Word Verification came up as "futlurgg." How's that for a snowblower name?! LOL!
Sparkle: Of course, I forgive you. Stuff happens. We've got about as much snow right now, as we did the entire winter of 2009-2010. It's crazy. There's 2 days of snow, so far in the upcoming week. Right now, our biggest enemy is the cold. -40C with wind chills. brrr The blower hasn't been given a name. I'll mention it to Marty, though. Have a good week.
