Today is July 28th, Chance’s birthday, or for the doggies, her woof day. 

Here are some pictures to help celebrate this special day for her.

This is Chance at 4 weeks old.  My, was she tiny.

This is my favourite picture of her from when she was 6 weeks old.

Now, here are some more recent pictures of her.

Here she is, all flakes out on the couch.  I think that this is her most favourite position.

We came home one morning from coffee & this is how we found her.  She didn’t move for quite awhile.

The clouds looked neat.  Reminded me of a quarter moon shape.  This was taken at about 9:30pm.

Same evening, just a different part of the sky.  I do believe that it did start to rain a little bit after I took these.

A Picture of Chance

Here’s the latest picture of Chance.

She’s doing not too bad.  She still has sore feet.  She’s limping right now because she’s got 1 really stubborn nail that just doesn’t want to fall.  We’ve got pills to take the ouchies away, when it’s required.  Right now, we’re hoping that she’s not getting another infection because of it.  We’ll be keeping a close eye on that foot.  All in all, she’s not doing too badly.

Time for another Chance moment

Seeing that it’s a long weekend here & we’re not doing anything out of the normal.  It’s time for another Chance moment.

Chance running & digging

Here's this weeks blog.  It’s a video of Chance running & digging in her kennel.  She had a lot of fun when I recorded her, but after not so much.  She was so busy digging, that she totally forgot about her sore toes.  Later that evening, she was limping a bit & her foot was sore.  She got an owie pill, to help with that.  She ended up having to need one for 2 nights.  All is good now, her foot isn’t so sore.  Perhaps she’ll listen next time when I tell her not to dig yet.  Enjoy the video.

Some pictures to end the week

Here are some pictures to end off the week.  The 1st 2 are of a deer that was by my mother in law’s house.  It’s beside the 2nd oak tree.  The pictures were taken at about 200-300 feet from where I was standing.

Here, she’s starting to leave.  She didn’t like the sound of the camera or maybe it was me standing there looking at her.

The next 2 pictures are of Chance.  We’ve got to have some Chance pics in every blog!!!  We had bought her her own blanket, so that she can bury her nose in it when she sleeps.  She really enjoys doing that!

Here, she’s more interested in checking out her nails.

Some outside pics

I took a few pictures the other day & they looked rather neat, I think.  2 are from a sunset.  The sky is really pink.  The others are from a small tree that was on the north side of the garage.  Enjoy the pics & Happy Easter.

An Update on Chance and some new Pictures

Here’s an update on how Chance is doing.  So far, she’s lost only a couple of nails.  They’re still separating, though.  It just takes awhile for them to all fall off.  She’s still on antibiotics & will be for the next 2 weeks.  She usually has to take them for a total of 3 weeks.  She’s eating a bit more & is starting to play with her toys again.  She doesn’t play long, but at least she’s playing.  Just the other day, she took just about all of her toys out of her basket & played with each of them for a minute or so.  Just the other day, she wanted to dig in the sand in her kennel.

All in all, she’s doing a lot better.  Pretty soon, she’ll be back to her old self….playing, dancing, digging & even stealing stuff.  lol  Here are some new pictures that were taken of her.  Enjoy.

A computer upgrade and a Chance update

I did a computer upgrade last week.  Not a major upgrade, as in hardware, but a case & power supply upgrade.  I got a new case, a new dvd burner (I had both of mine die in 1 week), new power supply & a hard drive.  The hard drive wasn’t a planned upgrade, it was a necessary one. 

I got all the necessary stuff for my computer upgrade, minus the hard drive.  I went to my nephew’s because I needed his help for a few things.  We got everything switched over & then it was time to boot up.  Well….!  Nothing happened.  I took it back to the table, removed all my pci stuff i.e. video card, tv tuner card, modem, ram.  All that fun stuff & put everything back in again.  This time something did happen.  A noise & not a good one.  I shut off the pc as quickly as I could & removed the hard drive.  It got connected to another pc to check it out.  Found out that it died.  :(  Not good at all.  I lost everything on there!  At least, I thought I did. 

The next day, I was told to put it into my external hard drive case & connect it to my laptop.  I tried 1 program to see if I could get the partition back, but it didn’t work.  :(  I tried another program to try to get my data.  That worked!  yayyy!!!  Maybe now, I’ll learn to back up my important stuff up everyday.

So, this is what I had gotten for my pc case upgrade & how it looks now.

Now, for an update on Chance.  Chance isn’t feeling very well right now.  We think that she’s starting an infection, due to her auto immune.  Her nails are starting to separate again & her toes are sore.  She doesn’t want to play, she’s not eating much & she’s sleeping more than usual.  We’ll be going to her vets to get her some anti-biotics to make her feel better.  Hopefully, we caught the infection early enough, so that it doesn’t take her a long time to bounce back.  Here are a few newer pics that were taken of her.
