Finally, a new blog

I’ve been slacking off lately.  Apparently, a new blog hasn’t been posted since mid August.  Not much exciting has been going on here, just the usual stuff.

We currently had a total of maybe 2 good weeks of summer.  The rest of the summer, was rain.  With all this rain, comes tons on mosquitoes.

I think they’re that big too.  lol  You’ve got to put on a winter jacket, just to take the dog out.  lol  Chance can’t even stay outside for long periods of time.  Them skeeters will pick her up & carry her off.

Now, here are some new random pics that I’ve taken.

Here’s a deer that was in the yard one morning.

Same deer, same day…deer looking at car. (we were in the car, on our way out of the yard)

Here’s Chance.  She was trying to sleep when I took this picture.

Here she is again.  She really wanted to sleep & didn’t want her picture taken.

This picture was taken last night.  The moon was half gone.  I changed the angle where I was standing, so that the trees were in the picture.  I’m still experimenting with taking pictures in the dark.

That’s all there is for now.  I haven’t been able to take any video of a storm or Chance playing.  Perhaps soon…..

  1. It's about time, kiddo! LOL! Just kidding! Yep, this year's mosquitoes are worse than flying monkeys! ("...and your little dog, too!") Chance is as adorable as ever! And your moon picture: spectacular! Your descriptive, "The moon was half gone," sounds like the beginning of an Edgar Allen Poe story!

  2. Sparkle: So, you got them skeeters from hell too? Glad you enjoyed the pics of Chance. Can you believe this, that was the only way I could think of to describe that picture of the moon? It must be that 3 day migraine I had earlier this week. I'll blame that. lol You are right, it does sound like a beginning of an Edgar Allen Poe story.
